The 15^th case of whooping cough has been reported in Boone County. Columbia Public Schools are working to prevent further cases of whooping cough after a confirmed case in the school district.

Rock Bridge, Hickman High Schools cancel joint homecoming parade

Rock Bridge High School and Hickman High School changed their homecoming tradition this year due to a big weekend for MU.

Both Rock Bridge and Hickman canceled their joint homecoming parade on Oct. 13. The schools expect a large crowd downtown because MU plays No. 1 Alabama, and continued construction on Broadway. Columbia Public Schools Superintendent Chris Belcher says safety of the students is the main reason for the cancelation.
