The Radio-Television Digital News Association has announced its winners for the 2012 regional Edward R. Murrow Awards for excellence in electronic journalism. Heading the list of winners in the Small Market and Large Market category was KBIA, winning 3 awards. The wins were in the categories of “Hard News,” and “Use of Sound.”

Missouri Military Academy in Mexico has long prided itself in creating young leaders, boasting a one hundred percent college acceptance rate for the past decade. This academic year the school has started a Chinese language program, and is considering an exchange program in China.
