Lauren O'Keefe

Before joining KBIA in August of 2012, Lauren spent the better part of a year practicing the art of not starving and learning that whole becoming an adult thing. Previously she enlisted in what became a 17 year stretch of professional studentism. The culmination of this scholarly pathway was graduation from Truman State University in 2011 with a degree in English composition complete with departmental honors. In her free time Lauren enjoys playing the oboe, practicing yoga, and dabbling with graphic design. Still not solidly on the path of adulthood, she plans to take a few visual communications classes in the future and just see what happens. For the meantime Lauren is enjoying her position among the staff of KBIA, particularly for the new crowd of coworkers with which to share her occasional overly-many baked goods.
