Patrick Neelin

Chief Engineer

Patrick Neelin is KBIA's broadcast engineer. A native Canadian, he received his diploma in Wireless and Telecommunications Technology from Humber College in Toronto, Ontario. It was there he, with 3 other students, built a radio system from scratch that they used to communicate with the International Space Station. 

Before working at KBIA, Patrick has held positions at CKHC in Toronto and KMIZ and KRCG here in central Missouri.

Chances are that if you studied English at the University of Missouri any time between the late 1950's and early 1980's, you met Thomas McAfee. A group of his former students are celebrating the late professor of poetry with a reissue of his poems.
