Ameren Missouri has filed a proposed plan with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission following a November citation for property being too close or physically on Ameren’s project boundaries. The proposal could affect over 1,600 waterfront homes, many of which are in Camdenton.

Trisha Creach, with the Camdenton Area Chamber of Commerce, says she hopes FERC will make a decision quickly.
“Now that the plan has been filed it is our hope that FERC will sign off on that and the Lake of the Ozarks will continue to move forward,” said Creach.
Once the decision is made, Camdenton officials say they hope to continue the year with a good understanding of property lines in the area.
