Moberly Area Community College and Central Methodist University plan to partner to offer new degree programs in Columbia.

The institutions announced Tuesday they will offer six bachelor's degree programs and one graduate degree program at the community college's Parkade center in Columbia.

The Columbia Daily Tribune reports the partnership will start this fall with a master of science in clinical counseling degree.

Central Methodist is renovating space at Parkade before the other classes start.

The two schools also are working to start a clinical counseling area, where Central Methodist clinical counseling graduate students would provide counseling to students from both institutions.
