Montana State VP named new Missouri S&T provost

Missouri University of Science and Technology has tapped a Montana State University vice president as its chief academic officer.

The Rolla school on Friday named Robert Marley as its new provost. He succeeds Warren Wray, who will become vice chancellor for global and strategic partnerships at Missouri S&T.

Marley was interim vice president for student success at Montana State. He spent more than two decades at the Bozeman campus, including stints as a professor of mechanical and industrial engineering and engineering dean. He is a graduate of Wichita State University in Kansas.
