Ragtag Cinema to Screen Ferguson Documentary For Free This Weekend

This weekend, Ragtag Cinema will have free screenings of "Whose Streets?" a documentary filmed in Ferguson during the months after the fatal shooting of Michael Brown by former Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson.

The documentary follows several community activists fighting for change as they are faced with such issues as racism and police brutality, according to a news release. The documentary premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and played at the True/False Film Fest in March.

Although the screenings are free, a ticket is still required for entry. The Ragtag box office opens at noon each day to distribute tickets for that day's screening. Free tickets cannot be reserved online or by phone.

The free screenings are courtesy of Ragtag Cinema and the MU Division of Inclusion, Diversity & Equity.
Show times are:

• 6:30 p.m. Friday;

• 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. Saturday;

• 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
