True/False March March

While most of the limelight of True/False is saved for the directors and the subjects of their documentaries, the March March parade aims to make the festival attendees the stars of the show for a brief moment. Parade-goers are encouraged to come with musical instruments, crazy costumes and an overall flamboyant attitude. The result — a vivaciously colorful party full of impromptu jams, dancing, and a few of the most interesting characters to be seen through the entire weekend.

"I'm spinning with the Burning Circus who's a crew that's spun for the March March for about five years now, actually. We've got the Burn Circus tie-dye colors mixed with some patchwork, just going for the Full Monty. This here is a little bit of a, I guess like a pirate-ninja style?"

"A friend of mine found the shirt in New York City, in a trash can. And they saw that it was in pristine condition and they said, 'Bob has to have this.' I live in New Orleans — they brought it all the way from a trash can in Brooklyn down to me in New Orleans. I'd call this Bob Weisz style, but I guess that's a little bit late 80's, early 90's, internet-neon-psychedelic-trash chic."
