Zweifel Awards Local Company $1.5 Million

State Treasurer Clint Zweifel visited his hometown of Columbia Tuesday to announce how he has invested in the growth of a local business.

By Emily Giffin (Columbia, Mo.)

Zweifel has awarded $1.5 million in low-interest loans to the Columbia-based company AdVentures.
Brent Beshore founded AdVentures in 2007 to help communications companies through equity investments, marketing resources, strategic planning, and operations management. Inc. Magazine recently named AdVentures the 28th fastest growing company in the nation.

“This commitment from AdVentures directly impacts 55 Missouri-based jobs. And the best part is this is a decision by Brent and his team that are standing behind us,” he said. “It’s not government coming in with a silly acronym and a complicated program trying to tell them how to figure things out. It’s the business on the ground making things work.”

Beyond AdVentures, Zweifel says he has placed $800 million in low-interest loans that have since impacted 13,000 other jobs and farms.

The loan money awarded to AdVentures will go toward its Columbia headquarters, its expansion into St. Louis, as well as the creation of 15 more jobs right here in Missouri.
