This week on intersection we are joined by Dr. Rebecca Johnson. She is the Millsap Professor of Gerontological Nursing and Public Policy Professor at the University of Missouri Sinclair School of Nursing. She's also a professor and serves as the director of the Research Center for Human Animal Interaction in the MU College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Johnson researches how people and pets interact, including the beneficial effects animals can have on people and the science behind it all.

Today Paul Pepper visits with MAR DOERING, DVM, All Paws Medical & Behavioral Center, about the many ways you can keep Fido and Fluffy safe and sound on Halloween! Mar says, "not all animals want to go trick-or-treating, and not all animals want to have guests come, even if they're not in costume; it can be pretty scary." October 23, 2017

Today Paul Pepper chats with CB CHASTAIN, College of Veterinary Medicine, about 'pets on meds.' Is your pet on medication? If so, CB shares questions you should ask your veterinarian before, during and after. At [4:34] VALERIE CHAFFIN joins us, along with foster animals Hattie Rose and Justin, to talk about "Second Fridays with Second Chance," which will happen throughout 2015 in Columbia! January 6, 2015
