Hartzler's "Vicky for Jobs" tour stops in Columbia

Republican U.S. Congressional candidates Ann Wagner and Vicky Hartzler stopped to speak to Columbia residents Monday afternoon for her “Vicky for Jobs” campaign tour.

U.S. House of Representatives candidate Ann Wagner came to Columbia to show her support for Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler. Wagner said Boone County accounts for 20 percent of the forth districts votes. She says there is uncertainty with regulation, health care, taxes and energy costs.

“Part of the uncertainly is in election," Wagner said. "And we need to get through this next Tuesday and then I think there’s going to be a lot of great hope going forward in terms of job creation, growth,  moving some of that capitol into real jobs for Missourians and Americans."

Wagner is running against Democrat Glenn Koenen in the second congressional district. Hartzler is challenged by Democrat Teresa Hensley in the fourth congressional district.
