Many of Columbia and Jefferson City’s official meetings have been canceled tonight due to the winter storm.

Both houses of the legislature in Jefferson City have adjourned early due to the weather and will reconvene on Monday. A lot of other official business has been canceled as well: The Columbia Planning and Zoning Commission

  • Board of Health
  • Parks and Recreation Commission
  • Public Transportation Advisory Board

According to the city’s website, they will all be rescheduled as soon as possible. “We’re going to reschedule it sometime next week based on meeting space availability,“ said Public Works spokesperson Christa Holtzclaw. "So anyone who wants to know when it’s being rescheduled can simply go to the Go Columbia MO website, to the meeting calendar and it will be updated there as soon as we have a new date scheduled.”
