The City of Columbia Water & Light is scheduled to begin installing a new water main on McKee Street from Clark Lane to Ria Street on July 30.
The project is expected to last 10 weeks and will upgrade existing infrastructure, increase fire protection and provide more reliable water service for the area, according to a city news release.
Water service disruptions may be experienced during the project but are expected to be minimal.
