A recent inspection found that the University of Missouri System President's house needs approximately $88,000 dollars worth of restoration.

Jefferson City Public Schools is in negotiations with Lincoln University and Linn State Technical College as part of a plan to build a new high school to replace the old facility.

Starting on Thursday, the University of Missouri-St. Louis is hosting a conference on “consilience.”

An analysis of government data conducted by The Associated Press shows that one in every two new graduates is either unemployed or underemployed. The University of Missouri is encouraging students to use on campus resources to help them secure jobs after graduation.

In a brief press release Tuesday, the Lincoln University Board of Curators announced that Dr. Carolyn R. Mahoney intends to retire from her position as President of the University on August 15th.

The press release says a search committee for her replacement will be appointed immediately.

According to the University's website, Mahoney has been President since February 2005. She's also a current Commissioner on the Midwestern Higher Education Compact.

Fulton High School is changing its scheduling system in an effort to raise graduation rates.  The school says the key lies in increased student-teacher face time.
